austropox® GK8 is a fast-curing polymer concrete based on PMMA. Special additives and a graded sieve curve with a maximum grain size of 8 mm make the material ideal for fast-curing grouting of road fixtures and profiles in asphalt in high-traffic areas.

austropox® GK8 offers a permanent solution for the renovation and grouting of asphalt in heavily loaded road structures, manholes, profiles and drainage channels. It is also an excellent alternative to hot mix asphalt for small-scale renovations and is characterised by its high robustness and fast load-bearing capacity.

Thanks to innovative PMMA technology, austropox® GK8 offers an exceptionally short curing time, even at low temperatures down to -5 °C. This means minimal closure times, as the surface can be reopened to traffic – including heavy goods vehicles – after just 30 to 60 minutes. For this reason, the product is not only ideal for high-quality, fast-curing grouting of manholes and other road fixtures in asphalt, but is also used as an alternative to hot mix asphalt for small-area repairs.

Simple and flexible application
